Oh happy day!

Wow, I am a total bitch. Allen Iverson’s wife filed for divorce today. Mike better watch his back. KIDDING!! I know you all want to kick my man while he is down but seriously, just be happy for me that now I won’t be lusting in sin. I’m also going to remind myself here that I need to post some articles that I wrote for this magazine called OCW. Not to be confused with OC Weekly. OCW is a medical marijuana magazine of sorts. Money is money folks. And I don’t have the kind of money that Tawanna Iverson will be getting in her divorce settlement. I know it’s wrong but I can’t stop cheesin’.

I got a shoulder you can cry on...a little lower...a little lower...

Allen Iverson update – 3/2/2010

Philadelphia 76ers President and General Manager Ed Stefanski announced today that guard Allen Iverson will not return to the team for the remainder of the 2009-10 season. “After discussing the situation with Allen, we have come to the conclusion that he will not return to the Sixers for the remainder of the season, as he no longer wishes to be a distraction to the organization and teammates that he loves very deeply,” Stefanski said. “It has been very difficult for Allen and the team to maintain any consistency as he tries to balance his career with his personal life.” The team will release any additional updates on Iverson’s status as they become available.

Sad, sad day for me. Not like watching them lose isn’t sad for me but you know…

Yikes…

Seriously, get well soon and get back soon!

Via Fox Sports: Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson has left the team and is out indefinitely to spend time with his ill daughter.
Iverson will miss at least the remaining three games of Philadelphia’s road trip. Iverson missed five games and the All-Star game to be with his family when the health issue surfaced earlier this month. Iverson has not disclosed what is ailing his 4-year-old daughter, Messiah.
Sixers president Ed Stefanski says it was in the best interest of the team and Iverson to allow him time with his family to deal with a “very serious issue.”

Ehhhhhh.

AWESOME game between the favs. Yeah I wish the 76ers won for A.I.’s homecoming…but they couldn’t have lost to a better team. It’s official, it’s going to be a great season. Iverson must be a good luck charm for Iguodala. He killed it in quarters one through three.

LET’S F-ING DO THIS!!!!!

I have butterflies...I’d like to thank “God” for making it rain today so there was HELLA traffic on the way home from work/school. Luckily I am the “master lane changer” (as I’ve dubbed myself) so I had no problem getting home to get my front row seat. Only 1 year and 364 days and 5 minutes to see him back in that jersey…he’s looking mighty fine out there. But you already knew that because you aren’t blind. Unless someone is reading this posting for you…then your missing out. It’s time for The Answer.

You know I am counting the minutes…

                                    LOVE

I am hoping the 76ers will win because if they lose (it will be the 10th in a row) I’m sure the haters will come out of the woodworks saying my man has lost his touch. I have a feeling the Nuggets will win because they KICK ASS right about now…and Philly is sucking it like a hooker. At 4:00 (EST) I won’t give a damn. It feels like a birthday when you are a kid right about now. And my two favorite teams? Fuugetaboutit. Another reason to give thanks (other than A.I. saving my 76ers) is for our brave troops. Just because it isn’t Veteran’s or Thanksgiving Day doesn’t mean we stop thinking about the poor troops fighting for…umm…. well, fighting. I found this cool website where you can personalize a post card and they will send it over seas. It only takes a minute. Old softie over here…
