And I hope you don’t either. I’ve obviously decided to lay off the “blogging” for awhile to focus on my deadlines/my bill paying job. Damn. Life isn’t what I thought it would look like but as the VERY fine DT would say, “It is what it is.”

I will try to update when I remember. It sounds stupid but like I mentioned before, my e-mails, Twitter, and lame ass FB have taken over. To quote another time, this time a specific era, “K.I.T.” The era is circa MY 8th grade year. For the record, I just started to K.I.T. with my peeps from 8th grade. Why you ask? (Or you didn’t, you’re going to get the answer anyways.) Blame it on the Face face face face fa face facebook. Like I care. Oh, and take care.

Don’t worry. It’s not goodbye. It’s like pressing pause.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. When the Gaykers lose their overly aggressive fans get real SILENT. I enjoy the silence don’t get me wrong, but I like the sound of the fair-weather fans with no noise coming out of their dropped jaws. As Mike would say, “Sorry son!” Haha…he’ll be pissed I used his quote on his own team. Bad girl. Good game. (Insert ass-slap here.)

Music to a Jew’s ears!! Look, I had a crappy day but then and I came home to check my e-mail and to my surprise, I saw something great. What is this greatness you ask? The 76ers get to select 2nd overall in the 2010 NBA Draft Lottery! Watch out now!! If there is a god I will get another great e-mail saying that Elton “Fat Neck” Brand has been traded. Hey, a girl can dream that this night will end on a good note!

My beautiful friend Kelly sent me some scandalous and riDICulous videos this week-end and I thought, I shouldn’t be the only one with these crazy ass videos stuck in the head. The boys (I pray they are ”of age”) should be ashamed of themselves, respetitively. Especially the skinny humping guys with the “gangsta” names. Haha, I’m guessing they are gay because I don’t think straight dudes would all get together in one room and do this. In that case…they should switch up their ummm…techniques.

Prepare to be dazzled…especially by grey sweatpants guy in the newest made-up dance. Apparently you have to have a Youtube account to view this repulsive…I mean sexy thrustastic video. This guy breaks it down. I’m backing it up.

Have a great mother’s day mom’s. I seriously hope you don’t have to do shit to today. I on the other hand have plenty of “shit” to do…including taking a drive to Compton (otherwise thuggishly known as “The CPT”) in the morning. Hopefully I don’t come back pregnant. Enjoy the day!

Working full-time and getting VERY little sleep is my newest excuse for not updating on a regular. I guess Twitter and stupid ass Facebook have taken over and made it easier to communicate. I mean, you say what’s on your mind and bounce! With a blog…you save it up and puke it out. Gotta change with the times huh?

I thought since I have pretty much nothing to say at this point in the day (besides I hope the Lamekers lose) I’d just post some reviews that OCW Magazine has up on their website. I still haven’t seen the magazine in person and I REALLY hope they post all of my articles on-line….we shall see. Right now there are four on there. Here are the three reviews and maybe you can guess which one is the forth. I like games. And bacon. Just thought you’d like to know.

76ers’ Dalembert honored

(Via www.philly.com) The Professional Basketball Writers Association on Monday named 76ers center Samuel Dalembert as the recipient of the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award for 2009-10.

The award, named for the NBA’s second commissioner, honors an NBA player or coach for “outstanding service and dedication to the community.”

Dalembert was honored for his efforts after a devastating earthquake hit his native country, Haiti, on Jan. 12. Dalembert twice visited Haiti, raised awareness for relief, and donated $100,000 to UNICEF.

“What Samuel has done should be a model for all professional athletes,” said Doug Smith of the Toronto Star, president of the writers’ association, in a news release. “He saw a crying need for help and worked tirelessly to give whatever aid he could while spurring others to act and contribute as well.”

In 2007, Dalembert founded the Samuel Dalembert Foundation, which assists Haiti by teaming with UNICEF, the Red Cross, and Feed the Children.

I don’t know about you, but Earth Day really puts me in the mood. (Not really, just go with it.) I mean, Mother Nature made today’s Earth Day wet, dry, warm, cold, and windy for us! All of that change may make you want to change partners. I get it. If you do choose to get down on this lovely day that is Earth Day, please be “geared up.” Because much like the weather today, sometimes you never be too prepared.
