What a day. Actually, what an evening!! I am just going to recap my night which also included a quick trip to pick up the kiddo and her friend (sound asleep upstairs, finally!) but mostly, the best basketball games of the season yet! Sorry Erin, I know you’re bored with the b-ball talk but I’ll make it up to you. I’ll treat you to a nice pack of Gummy Nerds to say I’m sorry…back to the goods.
#1- The 76ers made a 25 point come back tonight to beat the lame Pacers. Yeah son. Yeah son.
#2- The Nuggets beat the world champion Celtics. YES!!!! Thank god!! I was worried…on the D.L.
#3- Due to a fight, the Suns played without Steve “Baddest White Man Alive” Nash and Barnes Boo yet still managed to beat the Kings in overtime. I love it. Imagine the score if Nash did play!!
#4- Saving the best for last, Allen Iverson and the Detroit Pistons beat the shit out of the Gaykers ending their winning streak. While I will be perma-smile all night long, I got to thinking while basking in all the glory. I find it really funny that I have several friends that are tacky Gaykers fans. Believe me, I try not to judge. Well, these “friends” are REAL quick to send shit talking texts when their team beats one of mine. (It seems I have a lot of teams these days.) So tonight when Allen led the Pistons to a kick ass win…silence. Where are all you diehard fans with your trash talking now?? Haha, it’s ok. I am sure when your team beats my team next time, you’ll come back around to drop some slams. Pansy asses. In case it didn’t sting enough tonight, I wanted to immortalize it with pictures. BOO-YA.
Ok, I won’t talk basketball too much today because I could probably go on for hours. Such excitement, such talent…such hotties. Come to think of it, I really have nothing much to add. It was a day like many others. Tomorrow I am going to my friend Sharon’s (different Sharon) housewarming party in Long Beach. I can’t wait to see my peeps from the old job. Seems so long ago oddly enough. I hope they don’t all say, “oh, how are you?” or “Did you find a job yet?” Ughhh. Did I mention I sooo want to move to Long Beach? Gotta get that job first. Oh, I had a fortune cookie today and the fortune read; Good things come to those who wait. Be Patient. Ummm…what kind of crap is that? I could write better fortunes than that! Or maybe, just maybe, if I am patient I will land that perfect job. I don’t really have the time or the genes for patience but I will try my best. That’s all I got for you.
